Problem: My partner and I found it difficult to dine out with our friends who have food allergies. We would search on our Yelp accounts lost not knowing if a particular restaurant would be friendly to our friend's allergies or not.
Solution: A food allergy extension for Yelp. Here, you can search for allergy-friendly restaurants with a click of a button. And your friends can access your allergy profile before picking a restaurant.
Why Yelp? Yelp's mission is to connect people with businesses and provide helpful information. However, they are missing the most important information to millions of people by not adding a restaurant's ability to flex for allergies.
How it works.
LAUNCH DESIGN
WINDOW DECAL
Gold window decals will be added to participating restaurants. Every decal includes a QR code, so customers can easily check if the menu fits their dietary needs.
BROWSE THE MENU
Users will have access to the restaurant's menu and be able to see which dishes are allergy free.

Eating out with your friends is one of life's greatest pleasures. So, we promote the extension on Facebook so you can easily spread the word to your friends.
